The Healthcare Foreman is responsible for handling the onsite/remote management of project installations assigned to them; he/she will have a complete and comprehensive understanding of the project to properly complete a high quality install; and to ensure the proper management of personnel, materials, and documentation. The Healthcare Foreman will work under the direction of the Project Manager to maintain project timelines, documentation and profitability. The Healthcare Foreman may lead and train new Technicians and Apprentices and delegate duties accordingly. He/She also makes decisions and solves problems, monitors processes and materials, and evaluates projects to ensure conformity to industry standards and customer specifications.
 

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to hear, read, and speak English in order to communicate with internal and external customers.

Ability to follow federal and state safety regulations and immediately report incidents and deficiencies

Ability to lead and direct subordinates through feedback, leading by example, and training.

Ability to interpret, illustrate, and apply regulation codes and rules.

Ability to interpret sketches, blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Responsibilities:

Effectiveness in prioritizing assigned duties and evaluating work progress.

Ability to follow federal and state safety regulations and immediately report incidents and deficiencies

Ability to use and maintain various tools e.g., power, hand and meters specific to the trade.

Complies with appropriate safety practices and procedures, and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Review and understands all project documentation; conducts periodic on-site observations of work being.

Takes the lead on projects and is accountable for project budgets. Carry out diverse skilled activities involving the installation of equipment; designate and monitor the work of subordinates in order to achieve the completion of tasks in relation to projects.

Provides direct feedback and training to Technicians and Apprentices as assigned. Offer suggestions for performance evaluation(s) to build the skills and knowledge of subordinates.

Maintains and updates tickets and records / logs work status in a timely manner in ConnectWise. Recognize and report quality issues through the appropriate channels as they arise. Generate and manage documentation and quality reports including procedures.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to drive for 2+ hours

Ability to make repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Ability to walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak

Ability to work in outdoor/indoor environmental conditions

Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50+ pounds

Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6 feet

Position self to work in confined spaces

Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities

Position Requirements

Required Degree/Diploma: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Degree/Diploma: Bachelors in Electronics

Required Years of Experience: 3+  Low Voltage System Installation
                                                  2+  Management/Supervisory
                                                  2+  Project Leadership
Required Certifications: NICET II and California Fire/Life Safety Technician Certificate
