Position Description
This position will have an emphasis on infusion center and chemotherapy medication preparation and dispensing.

Additionally, the pharmacist:
Prepares and dispenses medications. Evaluates drug therapy and makes recommendations for change.

Medication Therapy Intervention and Documentation - Responds to medication therapy intervention opportunities and documentation of the intervention.

Reporting errors - Reports ADE and Medication Errors as appropriate.

Computer Alerts - Responds appropriately to computer alerts and messages.

Completing work - Employee completes work (under normal circumstances) and does not leave work for the next shift.

Accuracy - Employee is accurate in performance of job responsibilities.

Inventory Control - Assists in inventory control. Notifies the Director and Technology Administrator/Buyer of any problems found.
Position Requirements
Educational Requirements:

Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).

Certification/Licensure Requirements:
Must be currently registered to practice pharmacy in the state of Missouri.

Additional Skills & Experience Requirements:
Ability to prepare and dispense chemotherapy is required.

One year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
