Position Description

Nash UNC Health Care is looking for a talented individual to join our Infusion Therapy team as a Clinical Nurse II!  The Clinical Nurse II will have the following experience and qualities:

  • Ability to promote positive patient advocacy
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care

This position will report to the Infusion Therapy Nursing Director.  The Clinical Nurse II for Infusion Therapy is a clinically competent practitioner of nursing as defined by Benner, P. (1984). From Novice to Expert. Addison-Wesley Publishing Company. The nurse at this level provides nursing care within the patient home with minimal guidance, and bases practice on identified principles and standards of care. Provides professional nursing care to patients assigned to a specific Nursing Unit according to prescribed, delegated medical regimen, and the hospital policies. Incumbents are accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for practicing nursing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act.

 

 

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved nursing program with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.  Eligible candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, BCLS certification, and a valid NC Driver’s License.

This position does require less than 25% of travel for EMR training.


Applicants hired into a PRN position must be able to attend a weeklong orientation.

Rate of Pay: $31.00 per hour
