Position Description

The CBE Compliance and Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for performing a number of functions that are necessary for the Client Benefits and Education Compliance unit to develop into the second line of defense for the CBE businesses.  Reporting to the Director CBE Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible for performing the following functional tasks: ongoing quality assurance (QA) and monitoring of operational compliance; assessing processes, procedures, and system controls; executing periodic risk-based audits and assessments to detect issues and errors; and any other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.


  • 7 or more years of experience in the employee benefits administration field (i.e., DB pension, DC pension, health, life, and/or disability).


  • Demonstrated experience in ongoing quality assurance / quality control and monitoring of operational compliance.


  • Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
    • Assessing processes, procedures, and system controls;
    • Executing periodic risk-based audits and assessments (including independent compliance assessments) to detect issues and errors;
    • Documenting policies and procedures; and
    • Managing third-party vendor compliance.


  • Experience with church plans and/or the Episcopal Church a plus.
