Position Description

Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitor, support and maintain internal credentialing for all staff.
  • Streamline training documentation process and oversees tasks related to training documentation in e-Learning system.
  • Serve as a liaison between agency and outside vendors (CPR, Safety Care, VCE, etc…)
  • Coordinate agency training initiatives at all levels, including ensuring rooms are reserved, communication to staff transpires, CEC applications are received and processed and all other necessary steps.
  • Ensure staff training compliance with MDHHS, DWHMA and TCC requirements.
  • Act as point person for all internal and external audits including communication to necessary parties on upcoming audits, outstanding information and all other audit preparation.
  • Provide supervision to the professional development team ensuring accuracy and compliance in work product and deadlines.
  • Provide support to necessary programs and provide training where necessary to ensure skill gaps are being addressed.
  • Provide support and set up as needed for agency new hire orientation, including, but not limited to presenting to new hires on day 1 and hands-on walk through training on day 2 of orientation.
  • Attend all required training to enhance skills and meet Agency guidelines and as required by the State of MI, COA, and other agencies governing the operation of the Agency.
  • Develop Performance Goals and Expectations with immediate supervisor annually.
  • Participate in required supervision, agency meetings and other specialized meetings based upon this position.
  • Collaborate and maintain professional standards at all times while conducting agency business.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience organizing, managing and coordinating trainings as well as conducting trainings.
  • Must be objective, extremely detail oriented, organized, self-starter, and capable of adhering to multiple deadlines and goals timely.
  • Prior knowledge of/or experience with MDCH and MDHHS requirements and trainings for community mental health and child welfare preferred
  • Ability to manage, motivate and lead a team to success.
