Position Description

We are looking to add a Proposal Coordinator to our team in Medford. Cambridge Systematics provides innovative transportation planning, analysis and information technology solutions. We partner with local, regional, state and national agencies in the public and private sectors to help shape the future of transportation.

The M&C group helps to manage Cambridge Systematics' brand, tell the company's story, build client awareness and help facilitate the proposal process and other aspects of business development. We collaborate with staff to help foster long-term client relationships and a positive, innovative perception in the marketplace.

The Proposal Coordinator position provides an excellent opportunity to develop a great depth of knowledge of a region and practice area and help develop strategies to position the firm for success. Essential functions of the Proposal Coordinator include:

•Coordinates proposal and presentation efforts for high-quality, on-time, effective results
•Partners with consultant/technical teams in the development of a bid strategy and win themes
•Drafts, organizes, and coordinates proposal sections (staffing, past performance, forms), including tailoring information to meet client needs
•Manages the proposal production schedule to ensure that a high quality proposal is delivered on time
•Coordinates with internal staff and external teaming partners
•Engages other M&C staff as needed, including graphic designers, creative document specialists, and others to provide overall consistency and quality for all sections.
•Tracks, researches and distributes opportunity and solicitation information
•Prepares prequalification submittals for select clients.

Key to the Proposal Coordinator’s success are the abilities to effectively juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once, while delivering high-quality and on-time work; collaborate and communicate with internal staff and external teaming partners; and work independently on multiple tasks but not hesitate to ask for assistance.
