The Contracts Group is part of the corporate services team. We work collaboratively with the other corporate services groups and all of the business lines. The Group’s responsibilities include: reviewing and providing comments on requests for proposals, preparing and negotiating contracts for our projects and initiating and maintaining records pertaining to the Company’s project work. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to our internal and external clients.
We are looking to add a Junior Contracts Administrator to the team in Medford, MA. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for initiating and maintaining the project life cycle. This position is an essential link between project managers, the legal team and the Accounting department. Responsibilities for this role include the initial set up of new projects within the GovWin system, assigning new project numbers and processing time extensions and contract modifications prior to hand off to Accounting. The Contracts Administrator will also work closely with Accounting to handle initial set up and data entry in the CostPoint system. Additionally, s/he will be responsible for file maintenance, document processing and contract status reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
New Project Set Up
•Sets up new projects within the GovWin system •Assigns project numbers• Initial set up and data entry in CostPoint system
Processing of Contract Modifications
•Processes contract modifications and extensions prior to the hand off to Accounting team
Document Processing, Filing and Reporting
•Provides basic administrative support for the Contracts team •Maintains electronic and paper filing of contracts •Compiles contract reports as needed
