Accounting is dedicated to providing accurate and timely financial data to assist in the management and safe guarding of company assets, maintaining compliance with GAAP and all regulatory filings established by State and Federal agencies, and providing supportive services that meet the needs of Cambridge Systematics. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the team in Medford, MA. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for compliance filings, annual incurred cost submittals and preparing annual property returns, etc. S/he will perform ad-hoc analysis support for managers, maintain financial models and assist with quality assurance review of client requirements to ensure CS remains compliant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Complete project related periodic compliance filings (monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually) to ensure compliance with various client contract requirements •Prepares various work papers, analysis and reports in support of client project audits both defective pricing (post completion of project) and pre-project (request for proposal) and prepare work papers for the annual overhead audit •Responsible for creating annual incurred cost submittals in compliance with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and American Association of State Highway and Transportation (AASHTO) audit guide to ensure our ability to bid and perform work for clients •Preparation of annual property returns, business licenses, and business taxes •Performs research on new and existing locations (employee and client) to ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements

•Performs ad-hoc analysis support for business line managers, project managers and senior management •Maintain various financial models to support operations forecast •Assist with quality assurance review of client requirements to ensure CS is compliant with policies and contracts

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
3-5 years of applicable experience
Proficiency in Excel
Analytical ability

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of FAR regulations and AASHTO guidelines
