Position Summary

As a Systems Engineer in the Operations team, you will manage and support the system hardware and software for the organization. The successful Systems Engineer will also collaborate with management and employees to ensure the systems are designed appropriately in order to help the organization accomplish its goals.

As the Systems Engineer, success will be based upon your ability to ensure that the network is secure, robust and stable in support of the business by having a sound understanding of client processes and applying expertise in the areas of hardware, software and technologies in general. You will join a team of infrastructure champions who work hard to ensure all network software, monitoring tools and disaster recovery infrastructure are working to support the organizations objectives.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years experience and experience in enterprise level Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and Virtualization.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and server networking.
  • Experience in architecting, network design and systems software administration.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills. Ability to synthesize and distill information from multiple sources with ease.
  • Understanding of Commvault software considered an asset.
  • Understanding of patch and server management software, SQL server, server monitoring tools and performance tuning.
