Position Summary

AIMCo’s Treasury team is responsible for forecasting, liquidity, cash management, banking, payments, and collateral management services. The Analyst, Treasury will ensure the daily functions of the Treasury team are carried out in an accurate and timely manner as well as assisting the Treasury team in simplifying the complex, firm-wide, banking and payment structures. The incumbent will continually look for ways to gain efficiencies and improve processes in all Treasury functionality. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering the custodial, prime brokerages and banking portals, including managing access, resolving bank overdrafts, providing training to new users and processing payments
  • Ensuring cash is swept to the appropriate banks so it can earn the greatest amount of income 
  • Ensuring bank accounts are in good standing
  • Conducting core cash management functionality
  • Processing payment instructions on a daily basis 
  • Preparing same day cash forecasts
  • Setting up portfolios in AIMCo’s internal systems
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Holds an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Is able to manage / organize large amounts of data in machine readable format
  • Possesses strong MS Excel skills
  • Has experience with banking documentation and wire payments
  • Can us VBA to automate tasks
