Position Summary
AIMCo's Legal Services department has created a 3-month summer student position for a first or second year law student to augment and complement its current resource pool. We are a small team of in-house professionals who believe on-the-job training is an effective way to contribute to educating the next generation in the changing world.

The Legal Summer Student will assist the Legal Services team in the execution of assigned tasks based on the individual's experience and education background. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of legal and administrative activities including, but not limited to:

• Legal research and drafting of legal memoranda.
• Assisting with investment transactions.
• Reviewing and updating minute books and corporate records.
• General contract review.
• Supporting members of the Legal Services Department in responding to
various internal client requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate
• Law student who has completed or is completing 1st or 2nd year of law school.
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Has proficiency in M/S Office tools.
