AIMCo's Compliance team is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to complement its existing team. The Compliance Coordinator will provide administrative support to all Compliance functions: Regulatory, Ethics, Investment Compliance, Operational Due Diligence and Records Management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining AIMCo’s personal trading application, including data entry and employee account and statement setup and follow up.
  • Coordinating with other AIMCo departments in gathering policies and initiate the formal policy review.
  • Coordinating employee orientation and training including scheduling training, creating new hire packages, and ensuring setup in Halogen.
  • Assisting with compiling, organizing and retaining compliance monitoring documentation.
  • Assisting with maintaining the Compliance department’s inventory of internal controls and procedures.
  • Assisting with inventorying and categorizing documents within AIMCo and assist in the delivery of records retention training.
  • Providing general administrative support to other Compliance department staff, including expense claims and trip scheduling.
  • Support AIMCo’s FOIP and document retention program.

  • Has excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Is skilled in organization and time management.
  • Is able to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a dynamic environment.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possesses an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, with a particular focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Thrives in a team environment and also work independently.
  • Has experience with personal trading applications and knowledge of broker account documentation.
  • Possesses experience administering records retention policies and procedures.
