Position Summary

As the Business Systems Analyst, Application Management, you will provide comprehensive application development, integration, and maintenance services to support the organization in achieving its mandates, goals, and business objectives, and will maximize the potential of available information technology applications and systems. You will also contribute to applications development, maintenance and enhancement projects from planning through testing, implementation and client training phases.


In addition to coordinating assigned projects for custom developed systems and the integration of third party vendor supplied applications, this position serves as a technical and analytical resource on various teams, projects and initiatives. This position will require flexibility in hours of work and will involve:


  • Providing comprehensive analytics and application support to the front office in their management of portfolios, pools and funds
  • Providing internal holdings as well as other financial data, in both an ad hoc manner and through automated solutions
  • Monitoring and maintaining data feeds from external vendors including installation and setup of application environments
  • Providing ad hoc automated solutions to transform, vet and deliver required data
  • Investigate day-to-day issues and take corrective action as needed
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree or Diploma in Computing Science, Business or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience is desirable, however, new graduates will be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (C#, VB.Net, Entity Framework, ASP.Net, ADO.net, JQuery, CSS, HTML)
  • Proficiency in Database technologies (MS SQL Server database, T-SQL)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SQL Management Studio)
  • Experience with Reporting tools (MS RDLC / DataDynamics Active Report / Crystal)
  • Experience with Eagle Pace is desired
  • Experience with MSCI data sets, Standard and Poors Clarifi, Compustat, XpressFeed, Market QA is desired
  • Initiative, drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated and can do attitude
  • Collaborative and good team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • Participation in CFA or Claritas program in the medium term
